Operation Christmas Child Boxing Party

It’s getting to be that time of year again – time to plan to pack Shoeboxes! The Operation Christmas Child Boxing Party will be held Saturday, Nov. 19^th, 6:30 pm. You should bring toys and any items you want to place in your box and some to share. Alternately, if you want to drop off a packed box (and your check for $10 per box) you can do so anytime during church office hours (M-Th 9-3 & F 9-Noon) or after worship service. Put your shoebox by the Operation Christmas Child display table in the breezeway. We will be collecting boxes until Sunday, Nov. 20^th. We have plenty of boxes and girl/boy labels, so grab a box, a brochure containing the list of accepted and non-accepted items and girl/boy label and get packing! Also, this year we will be collecting items for the Shoeboxes every week September 1^st – November 13^th. There will be a sign in the narthex showing what we are collecting each week. At the Party there will be a Crazy Christmas Sweater Competition – each person will be able to cast their vote for best sweater! Also please bring a dessert or finger food for everyone’s enjoyment that evening. For any questions please contact Molly Vogus (contact info on your church roster).
