Grace to you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Prelude
As the music plays, we invite you to quiet your heart for worship. Set your mind on things above where your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Greeting and Announcements
Meditation in Preparation for Worship
“First of all, the congregation in its assembly does not just meet by itself, but seeks to meet with their God. . . . The congregation is spiritually quickened precisely in those moments when they, as congregation, discover the nearness of their God and the presence of the holiness, that is, when they in their meeting together at the same time meet with their God. Thus the highest view one can form of our worship services is to see them as a meeting of the congregation with their God.”—Abraham Kuyper, Our Worship, pp. 13-14.

Affirmation of Faith Westminster Confession of Faith 2: 2
God hath all life, glory, goodness, blessedness, in and of Himself; and is alone in and unto Himself all-sufficient, not standing in need of any creatures which He hath made, nor deriving any glory from them, but only manifesting His own glory in, by, unto, and upon them. He is the alone fountain of all being, of Whom, through Whom, and to Whom are all things; and hath most sovereign dominion over them, to do by them, for them, or upon them whatsoever Himself pleaseth. In His sight all things are open and manifest, His knowledge is infinite, infallible, and independent upon the creature, so as nothing is to Him contingent, or uncertain. He is most holy in all His counsels, in all His works, and in all His commands. To Him is due from angels and men, and every other creature, whatsoever worship, service, or obedience He is pleased to require of them.

Savior, Thou hast freely given all the blessings we enjoy,

Humbly now we bow before Thee, and our all to Thee resign;
For the kingdom, pow’r and glory, are, O Lord, forever Thine.
