Old Testament Survey Class

On April 5^th we will begin an Old Testament Survey on Wednesday evenings (6:30-7:30).  Many Christians find the Old Testament difficult to understand, and even more difficult to apply to their understanding of God and to the Christian life.  Sadly, this means that two-thirds of the Bible are neglected in the diet and practice of many.  In our survey, we will see the big picture of the Old Testament and discuss how each book of the Old Testament contributes to our understanding of the redemptive history recorded there and the promises made there that find their fulfillment in the New Testament.  We will see God’s glory demonstrated in the great events of redemptive history, explained by the prophets and sages, and celebrated in the Psalms.  We will also discuss how to apply the Old Testament to believers living under the New Covenant.  This training will help believers drink the pure spiritual milk of the word and help parents teach their children the gospel from the whole counsel of God’s Word in discipleship and family worship.

This class will run for approximately 8 weeks.
