Evangelism Explosion

In Psalm 51, King David relates how he was consumed by the guilt of his sin until he confessed his sin to God and came to know the blessing of forgiveness.  David prayed, “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation” (v. 12).  Then he said, “Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will return to You” (v. 13).  This is what a forgiven sinner wants to do, tell other sinners about the mercy and steadfast love of God! Being full of the joy of God’s salvation, he wants others to share in that joy with him!

Evangelism Explosion (EE) is training to help you “teach transgressors [God's] ways,” namely, the only way of salvation through Jesus Christ, who died for sinners and rose again as Lord of all!  Our EE teams are not only taking the gospel to the lost, they are also training their fellow believers to evangelize intentionally as a way of life.  If you would like to grow in your understanding of the gospel and strengthen your faith in Christ, I encourage you to get in the next semester of EE.  But don’t wait another day to begin telling others of the great salvation God has wrought through our Lord Jesus Christ.
