Assistant Pastor

Bill Bivans, the Assistant Pastor, was born in Miami, Florida, February 17, 1950, and grew up in Key Biscayne, Florida. He was ordained into the ministry in 1977 after he received his Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida. While serving in the U.S. Army, both he and his wife Peta came to faith in Christ the night before they were married in 1971. The Lord has blessed them with six children, and five grandchildren. Bill has served in churches in South Carolina and North Carolina, three of which were church planting situations. He has served at Cross Creek Presbyterian Church for the last five years.
